Happily returning to beautiful Balboa Park on Saturday, September 3rd and Sunday, September 4th!

Presented by the Southern California Plumeria Society, our annual Hawaiian Plumeria Festival offers live entertainment, an amazing Flower Show, along with one of Southern California’s largest and most extensive potted Plant Sale. This event is free and open to the public in the Casa del Prado, Balboa Park, San Diego, CA.

Vendor registration is limited to SCPS members in good standing who meet all our requirements; registration will be held at the July meeting. Please check your journal for more information.

Thousands of people visit us every year; check out past festival coverage from NBC and KUSI here.

Ride Sharing

Ride sharing is a great way to visit the Festival. Please direct your driver to 1650 El Prado, San Diego, CA 92101. This will take you to the end of Village Place between the Casa del Prado and the San Diego Natural History Museum.

Here is some parking advice for the Festival

Parking in Balboa Park lots is free. If you can’t find parking close to the Casa del Prado, it’s best to park in the Inspiration Point parking lot (on the east side of Park Blvd., between Presidents Way and the Balboa Park Activity Center) for easy access to the heart of Balboa Park via the free tram. Take the tram to the Plaza de Panama tram stop and walk to the Casa del Prado.

We’re happy to hold your plants for you until 3 pm while you enjoy Balboa Park. Plus, our plant runners will be happy to take plants to the loading zone (on the street east of the Casa del Prado) and wait with your plants while you get your car.
