SUMMARY:August 11\, 2024 - Our Favorite Plumeria and Lei Making
DESCRIPTION:  \n \n  \nThe August 2024 meeting will be at Jean Farb Middle School (4880 La Cuenta Dr\, San Diego\, CA 92124) at 1pm PDT. For this month\, we have SCPS Board members Joanne Northcutt\, Traci Peterson and Jeff Sharp\, presenting their favorites on “My Favorite Plumeria” panel and then we’ll have a brief lei tutorial. \nFollowing the panel discussion\, we will have a brief tutorial on how to string a basic lei. \nIn order to participate in making a lei\, you’ll want to bring the following supplies:\n• 5″ doll needle (or a lei needle)\n• dental floss\n• scissors\n• 60 to 70 Plumeria blooms for a basic single strand lei\, if you have them \nPlease note that the SCPS Retail Sales Table will have a very limited quantity of lei needles available for sale at the meeting.
